Fresh Chestnut growing environment: Dandong fresh chestnut is in the north part of china,which has four distinct seasons,moderate rainfall,and the water quality is very good. So Dandong's chestnuts are biger than other areas. They call it the king of the chestnuts.
The king of nut: Chestnut in Dandong have a longer growth period and higher quality, the chestnut trees in Dandong are all for many years, so the nuts are all delicious,soft,sweet and eutrophy, it is rich in mineral substance and many vitamins which are beneficial to human body.Each 100 grams of chestnuts contain protein 5.3 grams, 1.7 grams of fat, carbohydrates 77.2 grams, calcium 15mg, 1.2mg of iron, zinc 1.32mg,vitaminE 11.45mg, riboflavin 0.15mg, vitaminC 2.5mg. Chestnuts have rich unsaturated fatty acids and vitamins, minerals, can prevent hypertension, coronary heart disease, arteriosclerosis, osteoporosis and other diseases, anti-aging, prolong life.
